Access Request Management
An access request shows which restricted documents a contact wants to open.
Access
You need permission to use Access Requests. By default, Admins, Account Managers, and Content Managers have this permission.
Open access requests
In the Admin Center, select Access Requests.
Open a view: /access-requests?view=kanban or /access-requests?view=list
Use search, the rows-per-page control, and pagination to find a request. You can switch between Table and Kanban views.
Request statuses
Access requests use three statuses:
- To Review
- Approved
- Rejected
The Kanban view has one column for each status.
Review in table view
The table shows the contact, company, requested documents, date, and status. A request that is still under review has Approve and Reject actions.
Review in Kanban view
Drag a request card to another status column. When you move it to Approved or Rejected, the Admin Center asks you to confirm the change.
Approve a request
When you approve a request, the contact gets access to the requested documents. If the contact is not approved, you can also approve the contact.
When you approve a request for the first time, the Admin Center sends a magic-link email if email invitations are available.
If it cannot send the email, it approves the request and tells you that the email was not sent.
Reject a request
When you reject a request, choose whether to send a rejection email or reject the request without an email.
